Document processing

Card detection, cropping, editing and export run on your device. CardPress does not upload your source documents, PDF passwords, card images or recognised document text to the account service. Exported files remain wherever you save them. Printing sends your selected artwork to the Windows printer system and the printer you choose.

Your account

Google sign-in provides your name, email address and a Google account identifier. We use these to recognise your account and manage access. CardPress does not receive your Google password. The service stores subscription and trial-use records, desktop activation identifiers, computer names you supply, and records of account or licence changes.

Sessions and security

Essential cookies keep you signed in and protect the sign-in flow. If you register a passkey or recovery code, the service stores the verification information needed to use it. Your private passkey stays with your device or credential provider. The activation page temporarily remembers your computer code in the browser tab so you can return from sign-in.

Hosting and downloads

Cloudflare hosts the website and account database. Google handles Google sign-in. GitHub stores the Windows release files; the CardPress website checks your access before delivering a download. Network providers process connection information such as IP addresses as part of delivering and protecting these services. Your card documents are not included in installer downloads or account records.

Local storage and retention

The Windows app stores its activation locally using Windows-protected storage. Saved layouts contain crop settings; exported documents are controlled by you. Account and security records remain in the account service for access management and troubleshooting. Signing out ends the current browser session; it does not delete your account or exported files.
